Ozone Production With Dielectric Barrier Discharge: Effects of Power Source and Humidity

摘要: Ozone synthesis in air dielectric barrier discharge (DBD) was studied with an emphasis on the effects of power sources and humidity. Discharge characteristics were investigated to understand physical properties plasma corresponding system performance. It found that 10-ns pulsed DBD produced a homogeneous mode, while ac yielded inhomogeneous pattern many microdischarge channels. At similar level energy density (ED), decreasing flowrate is more effective production ozone for cases DBD, increased voltage DBD. Note maximum efficiency (110 g/kWh) achieved ED $\sim 85$ J/L, concentrations dry over three times higher than those relative humidity 100% both cases. A numerical simulation conducted using global model detailed chemical role water vapor production.
