摘要: The proteins from the silk-producing glands were identified using both a bottom-up gel-based proteomic approach as well shotgun approach. Additionally, relationship between functions of and spinning process was studied. A total 125 in major ampullate, 101 flagelliform, 77 aggregate, 75 tubuliform, 68 minor 23 aciniform glands. On basis functional classification Gene Ontology, these organized into seven different groups according to their general function: (i) web silk proteins-spidroins, (ii) related folding/conformation spidroins, (iii) that protect oxidative stress, (iv) involved fibrillar preservation silks web, (v) ion transport out during fiber spinning, (vi) prey capture pre-digestion, (vii) housekeeping all Thus, mechanism action for Nephila clavipes spider proposed; current results also indicate webs play an active role capture.
