摘要: Colorectal cancer, the second most frequent diagnosed cancer in US, causes significant morbidity and mortality humans. Over past several years, molecular biochemical pathways that influence development of colon have been extensively characterized. Since involves multi-step events, available drug therapies for colorectal are largely ineffective. The radiotherapy, photodynamic therapy, chemotherapy associated with severe side effects offer no firm expectation a cure. Thus, there is constant need investigation other potentially useful options. One widely sought approaches chemoprevention uses natural agents to reverse or inhibit malignant transformation cells prevent invasion metastasis. Curcumin (diferuloylmethane), plant product, possesses such chemopreventive activity targets multiple signalling prevention development.
