Impact of Food Security on Urban Poverty: A Case Study of Lagos State, Nigeria

摘要: Abstract The history of Poverty is as old the human history, but its meaning has changed through time. In olden days, most peop le were poor, and this was accepted natural unavoidable. current understanding, on contrary, that condition poverty unacceptable, it should be eradicated. This study investigates impact food security urban using Lagos state, Nigeria a case study. reveals four important proxies (high level education, small household size, healthy households high income,) for have huge significant poverty. Hence; with good policy in place ensuring security, can overcome.
