Alternative power laws for ratio scaling

摘要: To take account of the observed lack fit power law near thresh-old intensities, two different modifications have been proposed by various investigators. In this paper, both these laws are derived as a special case generalized function for ratio scaling. A method is presented discriminating between which provides (i) prescription manipulation independent variables, and (ii) specification theoretical curves to empirical be compared. Maximum-likelihood estimators exponents under assumption that subjective ratios log normal.
