摘要: The ever-increasing prevalence of obesity poses a significant burden on the health care system with escalating socioeconomic consequences. At individual level, is well recognized to increase morbidity and mortality. Not only an established cardiovascular risk factor, it also increases sudden cardiac death atrial fibrillation. Studies have shown that increased adiposity itself accompanying metabolic consequences weight gain contribute abnormal arrhythmogenic substrate. In this review, we focus diverse mechanisms underlying arrhythmias related obesity. particular, highlight pathogenic role adipose depots leading fibrillation effect reduction in decreasing obese individuals.
