摘要: Objectives: Compulsive exercise in eating disorders has been traditionally considered as a behavior that serves the purpose of weight/shape control. More recently, it postulated there may be other factors drive compulsive need to exercise. This led development Exercise Test (CET); self-reported questionnaire aims explore cognitive-behavioral underpinnings from multi-faceted perspective. The objectives this study were threefold: 1) To validate Spanish version CET; 2) compare disorder diagnostic subtypes and healthy control group terms defined by 3) how dimensions evaluated CET are associated with symptoms general psychopathology. Methods: was administered total 157 patients an (40 anorexia nervosa, 56 bulimia 61 not-otherwise-specified (EDNOS)) 128 weight/eating controls. Patients assessed via semi-structured interview reach DSM-IV-TR diagnosis. Additionally, all participants completed Symptom Checklist-90-Revised (SCL-90R) Eating Disorders Inventory-2 (EDI-2). Results: Confirmatory factor analysis demonstrated adequate goodness-of-fit original five-factor model CET. Bulimia nervosa EDNOS scored higher avoidance rule-driven behavior, weight scales comparison controls, across apart rigidity scale compared patients. Mean scores did not differ those participants, except for mood improvement where obtained lower mean score. between equivalent. positively correlated clinical assessment measures SCL-90R EDI-2. Conclusion: is multidimensional construct driving according subtype. should taken into account when addressing during treatment disorders.
