A wavelet coding method for arbitrarily shaped image data, applicable to object-oriented of moving pictures, and the efficient representation texture data in computer graphics is proposed. The transform an obtained by applying symmetrical extension technique at region boundaries keeping location coefficient. For entropy coefficients, zerotree modified work with regions treating missing (outside decomposed support) coefficients as insignificant transmitting those symbols which are support. performance proposed several test images that include a person, teapot necklace compared shape-adaptive DCT ordinary low pass extrapolation block containing boundaries. Experiments show has better efficiency SA-DCT method.
