摘要: The results obtained during the first year of project involving sequencing Bacillus subtilis genome are presented. Different gene libraries using a yeast artificial chromosome vector and bacteriophage vectors, lambda Fixll Φ105J124, have been constructed. A total 300 kbp cloned vector, 68 which fully sequenced. Several open reading frames showing homologies with genes other organisms were found. Two genes, previously unknown in this organism, identified.
