摘要: Cases of malaria are increasing day by in the vicinity Delhi. A large number cases attends this department for screening malarial parasites. Several thousand were screened since October 1976 and only 10 detected who resistant to chloroquine treatment. The peripheral blood smears on repeated examination even after therapy given more than 2 3 occasions showed heavy parasitisation ofP. vivax. Subsequent treatment with primaquine 5 days was inadequate as persistence vivax present. Primaquine extended 14 complete disappearance from subsequent examinations.
