摘要: Cilazapril (CLZ) has been reported to reduce intimal hyperplasia in a rat carotid model of restenosis. The purpose this study was determine whether CLZ inhibits restenosis after deep arterial injury lathyritic rats. used as injury; the internal elastic lamina is easily broken by balloon because fragility connective tissue. Deep defined rupture with damage both intima and media. rats were divided into 4 groups (n = 40): mild (intimal intact lamina), +CLZ, injury, +CLZ. In CLZ-treated groups, drug administered orally (10 mg/day) from 7 days before until time sacrifice 21 injury. determined histologically using computerized morphometry program. At sacrifice, blood pressure lower than untreated (control) (p < 0.05). model, decreased markedly. contrast, failed markedly neointimal area type seems effectiveness CLZ.
