摘要: Zeeman and variable temperature experiments on the lowest (optically excited) triplet state of palladium porphin (PdP) in single crystals n-octane (n-C 8) n-decane (n-C10) performed at low temperatures are reported. The orbital degeneracy 3 Eu free molecule appears to be lifted crystal splitting between two components |x> |y> amounts 57 cm-1 for n-C8 41 n-C10. parameters PdP D = - 23 ± 5 GHz, g ⊥ 2·00 0·02, ‖ 1·68 0·04, n-C10 they -42 0·01, 1·51 0·03. zero field g-tensor anisotropy dominated by contributions from spin-orbit coupling which connects τ x , y levels 3|x> with those 3|y> a matrix element has magnitude Z′ 14·6 0·3 cm-1. angular momentum units ħ Λ′ 1·4 0·1.
