摘要: Biophysical and biochemical cues from the cellular microenvironment initiate intracellular signaling through membrane receptors trigger specific cell developmental programs. Extracellular substrates matrix scaffolds engineered to mimic cell’s native physiological environment must incorporate multifactorial parameters (composition, micro nanoscale organization, topography) of extracellular as well dynamic nature matrix. The design such biomaterials is challenged by inherent complexity cell-extracellular reciprocity, while validation robust microenvironments requires a deeper, higher content phenotypic resolution cell-matrix interactions alongside rapid screening capability. To this end, high-throughput platforms are integral facilitating optimization complex for directing desired pathway. This review highlights recent advances in biomaterial that present enable high throughput response combination micro-environmental factors. We also address some newer techniques involving high-content image informatics elucidate emergent behaviors with focus on stem regenerative endpoints.
