High speed FIR adaptive filter for RADAR applications

摘要: This paper presents the implementation of KA algorithm and Coordinate Rotation Digital Computer (CORDIC) structures for adaptive digital signal processing. Adaptive FIR filter is used in RADAR to detect weak signal. Implementation requires more hardware power consumption. Several optimization techniques are proposed reduce hardware, consumption increase speed. The Vedic mathematics, CORDIC algorithms, e.t.c. Among these widely application due it's simple architecture processor independent nature. implemented using shifter adder. Compared MAC unit have less chip area high Further speed structure improved by combining with architecture. larger computation splitted into smaller operation performed without multiplier structures, hence overall improved.
