摘要: At the University of Texas Medical School at Houston we had a unique opportunity to examine performance through medical curriculum and one year postgraduate training 50 students initially rejected for school. Each been interviewed by same Admissions Committee, which earlier selected 150 traditional process. In contrasting accepted groups, academic demographic variables accounted only 28% group difference. The 72% difference not examined was presumed relate Committee preference. attrition in both preclinical clinical school training, there were no meaningful differences between groups. observations suggest that interview process probably does enhance ability predict applicants.
