摘要: Conduct problems, alcohol problems and hyperactive–inattentive symptoms co-occur at a high rate are heritable in adolescence. The γ-aminobutyric acid A receptor, α2 gene (GABRA2) is associated with broad spectrum of externalizing disinhibitory-related traits. current study tested whether two important forms disinhibition adolescence, impulsivity sensation seeking, mediated the effects GABRA2 on symptoms, conduct problems. Participants were assessed waves (11–17 12–18 years old; N = 292). Analyses used SNP, rs279858, which tags complementary (yin–yang) haplotypes. Multiple informants reported adolescents’ seeking adolescents self-reported their lifetime Impulsivity effect whereas (AA/AG genotypes conferred risk). directly predicted adolescent but GG genotype risk. Results suggest that there may be multiple pathways risk from to avenues for future research.
