摘要: The role of imidazoline receptors in the regulation vascular function remains unclear. In this study, we evaluated effect agmatine, an receptor agonist, on systolic blood pressure (SBP) spontaneously hypertensive rats (SHRs) and investigated expressions by Western blot. isometric tension aortic rings isolated from male SHRs was also estimated. Agmatine decreased SBP a dose-dependent manner but not normal group [Wistar-Kyoto (WKY) rats]. This reduction abolished BU224, selective antagonist I(2) -receptors. Higher expression SHR observed. Moreover, agmatine-induced relaxation precontracted with phenylephrine or KCl. BU224 modified efaroxan, I(1) -receptor antagonist. Agmatine-induced attenuated PNU 37883, blocker ATP-sensitive potassium (K(ATP) ) channels. Additionally, vasodilatation agmatine reduced inhibitor protein kinase A (PKA). We suggest that can lower through activation peripheral -receptor, which is expressed more highly SHRs.
