摘要: Abstract Passivity characteristics of three nickel-metalloids glassy alloys (Ni 92.3 Si 4.5 B 32 , Ni 82.3 Cr 7 Fe 3 3.2 and 75.5 13 4.2 2.8 ) the immersion time effect on corrosion resistance were carried out by AC DC electrochemical methods SEM XPS analyses. The study also focused H PO 4 concentration its role rate, passivation ability nickel base surface. present investigation revealed (i) Cr-free alloy shows pseudo passivity at all examined concentrations, (ii) high contains due to formation protective layer chromium oxyhydroxide surface which acts as a diffusion barrier against dissolution, (iii) negative observed in case sudden transition metal/solution interface from state active dissolution passive state.
