摘要: CBA/J mouse lymphocytes from thymus, spleen and lymph nodes were separated into fractions enriched in either T (thymus-derived) or B (bone-marrow-derived) cells. The cells stimulated with ‘T cell mitogens’ (concanavalin A phytohemagglutinin), ‘B (lipopolysaccharide lipoprotein), pokeweed mitogen to incorporate tritiated mannose, galactose fucose. Mitogen-induced incorporation of carbohydrates acid-precipitable material proved be specific for the population. Carbohydrate-labelled extracted dodecyl sulfate buffer extracts subjected polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis subsequent autoradiography. Depending on carbohydrate used labelling several glycoproteins activated (GP 200, GP 170, 125) 210, 85 75) noted. Also subpopulations could distinguished by their glycoprotein patterns. From these patterns following conclusions derived. a) Concanavalin-A-reactive comprise different subpopulations. b) Concanavalin phytohemagglutinin stimulate same nodes. c) Lipopolysaccharide lipoprotein spleen. d) lipoprotein-stimulated differ those that latter show a markedly higher rate 75, suggesting immunoglobulin M (IgM) synthesis.
