摘要: Colorectal cancer (CRC) is one of the most common human malignancies and a leading cause cancer-related deaths in developed countries. Identifying effective preventive strategies aimed at inhibiting development progression CRC critical for reducing incidence mortality this malignancy. The prevention carcinogenesis by anti-inflammatory agents including nonsteroidal drugs (NSAIDs), selective cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) inhibitors, natural products an area considerable interest research. Numerous have been identified as potential chemopreventive but vary their mechanism action. This review will discuss molecular mechanisms being studied activity NSAIDs (i.e., aspirin, sulindac, ibuprofen), COX-2 inhibitors celecoxib), curcumin, resveratrol, EGCG, genistein, baicalein), metformin. A deeper understanding how these inhibit provide insight into potentially safer more drugs.
