摘要: We conducted a prospective randomized study to evaluate the efficacy of single daily dose 4 mg/kg trimethoprim coupled with 17.5 sulphadiazine for three (group 1) or 10 days 2) in treatment uncomplicated urinary tract infections children. Forty patients (nine boys and 31 girls) aged 2.5-18 years, presenting infection were allocated one two groups. Patients seen three, 10, > = 38 after initiation treatment. Control urine cultures negative all at 3 10. Two group 1 patient 2 suffered relapse within month. Single doses trimethoprim/sulphadiazine are effective
