摘要: Bees and wasps could exhibit shape size sexual dimorphism, most of their morphological variation depend on phenotypic responses due to environmental pressure during ontogenetic development. More complex measurement techniques related rather than simply mass length should be required analyze such a dimorphism. In this study, differences wing males females Ophion intricatus Brulle (Hymenoptera: Ichneumonidae) were evaluated using geometric morphometrics. Right left wings specimens used, photographic matrix was constructed in which 18 landmarks based vein patterns the digitalized. A multivariate analysis showed significant between sexes sites. The demonstrated that points at intersection radial cubital-anal veins might key characters differentiate sexes. This study also presence two clearly different male morphotypes coexisting same site. However, it noted results is an analytical character determination family Ichneumonidae. These raise question whether dimorphism may modulated by natural selection.
