摘要: Abstract Water-soluble cysteamine-capped ZnS quantum dots (QDs) are designed to serve as a photodetector for dangerous group of carcinogens called aflatoxins. QDs synthesized by growth in poly(vinyl alcohol) matrix using the precipitation method. The prepared characterized X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and scanning (SEM). Our characterization shows that these have 1.77 nm crystalline size, cubic zinc blende structure spherical morphology with diameter less than 10 nm. Photoluminescence (PL) is performed presence standard solution aflatoxins (B1, B2, G1 G2 ratio 5:1:5:1) at various concentrations, order determine efficacy QD-based aflatoxin detection Two PL emission peaks located 440 nm 467 nm observed whose intensities enhanced increasing concentration total aflatoxin. variations range concentrations studied here (2.4 ppb–48 ppb) best described Langmuir-type equation. limit calculated be 0.05 ppb, well below lowest international contamination allowance food products.
