摘要: The implant primary stability of the acetabular cup (AC) is an important parameter for surgical success press-fit procedures used insertion cementless hip prostheses. In previous studies by our group (Mathieu, V., Michel, A., Lachaniette, C. H. F., Poignard, Hernigou, P., Allain, J., and Haiat, G., 2013, “Variation Impact Duration During in vitro Insertion Acetabular Cup Implants,” Med. Eng. Phys., 35(11), pp. 1558–1563) (Michel, Bosc, R., Mathieu, 2014, “Monitoring Press-Fit Measurements: Influence Bone Abrasion,” Proc. Inst. Mech. Eng., Part H, 228(10), 1027–1034), impact momentum duration were shown to carry information on AC within bone tissue. aim present study relate recorded during biomechanical stability. experimental protocol consisted testing 13 bovine samples that underwent successively series 15 reproducible mass falls impacts (5 kg, 5 cm) followed tangential testing. Moreover, correlation between obtained all configuration (R2 = 0.65). can be assessed through measurement force signal analysis. This opens new paths development medical device which could as decision support system assist surgeon implant.
