摘要: Killer Immunoglobulin-like Receptors (KIR) are a family of receptors expressed on natural killer (NK) and T-cell subsets. KIR3DL1 is highly polymorphic receptor that binds to groups HLAA HLA-B allotypes express the Bw4 epitope. The variation in manifests at number levels. Most dramatically, common allelic variant encodes an activating rather than inhibitory (KIR3DS1). In addition, sequence variants can affect both frequency expression within NK cell population intensity given cell. polymorphism also influences interaction with HLA-Bw4 molecules, due contacts HLA molecule itself sensitivity presented peptide. A body evidence from genetic association studies supports biological significance not only but functional seen different allotypes. this review, we discuss our current understanding function recent insights structure complex HLA. will summarize KIR3DS1, including its ligand specificity role immune responses.
