摘要: The analyses of visual data by stereo and motion modules have typically been treated as separate parallel processes which both feed a common viewer-centered 2.5-D sketch the scene. When acting separately, are subject to certain inherent difficulties; must resolve combinatorial correspondence problem is further complicated presence occluding boundaries, analysis involves solution nonlinear equations yields 3-D interpretation specified up an undetermined scale factor. A new module described here unifies in manner each helps overcome other's short-comings. One important result correlation between relative image flow (i.e., binocular difference flow) disparity; it points importance ratio ? ?, rate change disparity its possible role establishing correspondence. such ratios was first pointed out Richards [19]. Our formulation may reflect human perception channel probed Regan Beverley [18].
