摘要: Since it was identified a decade ago, cyclin-dependent kinase 5 (CDK5) has emerged as crucial regulator of neuronal migration in the developing central nervous system. CDK5 phosphorylates diverse list substrates, implicating regulation range cellular processes - from adhesion and motility, to synaptic plasticity drug addiction. Recent evidence indicates that deregulation this is involved pathology neurodegenerative diseases.
