摘要: Two glacial deposits in the Gesso valley (Maritime, Alps) have been 10Be-dated at 20 140±1080 (weighted mean±SD) and 16 590±970 years, respectively, thus constraining Last Glacial Maximum (LGM) Gschnitz stadials southwestern part of Alps. The LGM age is chronologically coherent with MIS 2 synchronous most other moraines stadial also appears to be agreement ages obtained from Alpine sites Heinrich Event I. This suggests that glaciers reacted simultaneously essentially synchronously climate change associated 1. Equilibrium Line Altitudes (ELAs) reconstructed palaeoglaciers are 1850 1910 m a.s.l., respectively. ELA comparison across Alps indicates palaeoclimate Maritime during was rather different sectors. However, similar value between mountain chain responded same intensity Overall, these results suggest interaction atmospheric circulation air masses local orography more complex than has previously argued.
