摘要: This paper is a review of methods and techniques used for precise measurement time intervals (TIs) or conversion TIs to digital data. The following are described: the counter method averaging, stretching, time-to-amplitude followed by analogue-to-digital conversion, Vernier method, utilizing tapped delay lines, interpolation methods. Special attention has been paid converters integrated lines TIs, including designs with phase-locked loop delay-locked circuits. illustrated design examples contains comprehensive list references.
