摘要: Multidisciplinary data from 166 children with autistic spectrum disorders were subjected to cluster analysis. Cross-validation between random halves of the sample showed acceptable consistency clustering method. Four clinically meaningful subtypes emerged They did not differ in demographic characteristics but show, on average, distinct differences behavioral and cognitive areas. Over half fell into a subtype described as typically abnormal verbal nonverbal communication, aloofness, impaired social skills, sensory disturbances. Another 19% similarly moderate severe mental handicap. The remaining formed two subtypes: high-functioning Asperger-like group who overactive aggressive, small language had restricted interests, family history learning problems. This study highlights important among autism emphasizes relationships functioning disorder.
