摘要: : Subclinical genital tract infection has been clearly established as a significant cause of spontaneous preterm birth, particularly in early gestations. Bacterial vaginosis organisms rank highly among the pathogens involved labour and there is considerable beneficial evidence from use prophylactic antibiotics for women at high risk birth. The pathogenesis involves activation macrophages generation pro-inflammatory cytokines. Bronchopulmonary dysplasia seen most immature survivors appears to be secondary interruption normal development maturation lungs. link between chorioamnionitis lung injury utero subsequent bronchopulmonary now substantiated. Exposure cytokines implicated impairment fetal lung. A body supports association chorioamnionitis, periventricular leukomalacia cerebral palsy. Biological mechanisms that explain brain involve Similarity pattern expression suggests common pathway initiation also central nervous system fetus.
