摘要: There are two different ways for cells to die: necrosis and apoptosis. Cell death has traditionally been described as necrotic or apoptotic based on morphological criteria. controversy about the respective roles of apoptosis in cell resulting from trauma central nervous system (CNS). An evaluation work published since 1997 which electron microscopy was applied ascertain role in: spinal cord injury, stroke, hypoxia/ischemia (H/I) showed evidence DNA degradation, presence histones cytoplasm, cord. In aftermath many biochemical markers were present but determinations suggested that is major source post-traumatic death. This not case H/I where both assays studies gave more consistent results a manner similar injury studies. After H/I, factors affecting outcomes damage repair processes, expression bcl-like gene products inflammation-triggered cytokine production.
