摘要: Three-phase chemical hydrogenation reactions involving the processing of gas-liquid reactant feed streams (14) over 'mini-structured' solid catalyst beds (12) formed e.g., channeled honeycomb monoliths (18) incorporating catalysts achieve reaction efficiencies suitable for effective integral reactor (10) operation by utilizing low superficial liquid linear velocities and high feedstream gas:liquid ratios; single-pass conversion in excess 50 %, typically 80-100 are achieved.
