摘要: High porosity of scaffold is always accompanied by poor mechanical property; the aim this study was to enhance strength and modulus highly porous nanohydroxyapatite/polyamide66 (n-HA/PA66) coating chitosan (CS) investigate effect CS content on physical properties cytological properties. The results show that can reinforce effectively. compress coated n-HA/PA66 scaffolds are improved 32.71 2.38 MPa, respectively, being about six times five those uncoated scaffolds. Meanwhile, still exhibit a interconnected structure approximate 78%, slightly lower than value (84%) scaffold. were also studied in vitro cocultured with osteoblast-like MG63 cells. experiments demonstrate reinforced display favorable cytocompatibility have no significant difference meet basic requirement bone tissue engineering scaffold, presenting potential for biomedical application reconstruction repair. © 2011 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
