Repeated Downsizing: Attitudes and Well-being for Surviving Personnel in a Swedish Retail Company

摘要: The study evaluates consequences of the major restructuring and downsizing a large Swedish retail company. Efforts were made to investigate impacts perceived job insecurity, influence over process, fairness process on well-being remaining personnel, “survivors” process. A second aim was effects repeated work perceptions, attitudes health “survivors”. Data collected by means questionnaire two occasions with 12-month interval. response rate 71% for survivors at Time 1 (n=555), again 2 (n=395). Results indicated that most important predictors distress insecurity participation in Furthermore, new wave organizational change between measurement associated higher personal ratings workload lower satisfaction, whereas mean scores remained unchanged.
