摘要: The incorporation of the full dynamics different conversion stages wave energy converters (WECs), from ocean waves to electricity grid, is essential for a realistic evaluation power flow in drive train. WECs with take-off (PTO) systems, including diverse transmission mechanisms, have been developed recent decades. However, all PTO systems electricity-producing WECs, regardless any intermediate mechanism, include an electric generator, linear or rotational. Therefore, accurately modelling generators crucial wave-to-wire (W2W) models. This paper presents models three popular rotational (squirrel cage induction machine, permanent magnet synchronous generator and doubly-fed generator) back-to-back (B2B) converter validates such against experimental data generated using real machines. input signals validation mathematical are designed so that whole operation range electrical covered, W2W model mimic behaviour hydraulic systems. Results demonstrate effectiveness reproducing characteristics machines, losses machines B2B converter.
