摘要: The organization of multicellular organisms depends on cell-cell communication. signal molecules are often soluble components in the extracellular fluid, but also include odors and light. A large array surface receptors is involved detection these signals. Signals then transduced across plasma membrane so that enzymes at inner face activated, producing second messengers, which by a complex network interactions activate target proteins or genes. Vertebrate cells have been used to study hormone neurotransmitter action, vision, regulation cell growth differentiation. Sensory transduction lower eukaryotes predominantly for other functions, notably attraction mating food seeking. By comparing sensory higher general principles may be recognized found all deviations present specialised systems. This help understand differences between types within one organism importance particular pathway not general. In practical sense, microorganisms advantage their easy genetic manipulation, especially advantageous identification function families transducing components.
