Production and characterization of antisera specific for the erb-portion of p75, the presumptive transforming protein of avian erythroblastosis virus

摘要: Abstract p75 AEV constitutes the presumptive transforming protein of avian erythroblastosis virus (AEV). This molecule consists a portion derived from gag gene and another domain putative AEV, called erb. Antisera reacting with both domains were obtained chicks surviving an induced by temperature-sensitive mutant AEV. After absorption structural proteins these sera shown to immunoprecipitate via erb determinants molecule. The absorbed did not detect other than in AEV-transformed erythroblasts fibroblasts unreactive variety uninfected cells or transformed defective leukemia viruses. p40 synthesized vitro translation AEV-RNA. erb-specific chicken antibodies phosphorylated after reaction under assay conditions suitable for detection kinase activity Rous sarcoma (RSV) Abelson murine virus.
