摘要: Mammary phyllodes tumour (PT) is an uncommon fibroepithelial neoplasm with a prominent stromal component. We report five cases of PT (one benign, three borderline, one malignant) giant cells in the stroma. All occurred adults and ranged from 1.8 to 4.0 cm size. The overall cellularity, cell pleomorphism mitotic count was higher for malignant borderline than benign PT. number 18 35 per 10 high power fields, but there no relationship between this grade Most were subepithelial, multiple nuclei arranged linear or irregular pattern, moderate amount cytoplasm. immunohistochemical profile similar cells. In all cases, both expressed vimentin strongly not desmin; two populations actin weakly. respective percentage expressing MIB1 also similar. This suggests that these do represent different, more active population, despite bizarre appearance. view small significance such on prognosis remains uncertain.
