摘要: A method for reducing sliding friction of threaded fasteners according to the present invention includes steps providing a threadless austenitic stainless steel blank, coating surface blank with lamellar solid material, such as molybdenum disulfide, by introducing into solution disulfide suspended within carrying agent isopropanol or n-Butyl alcohol, heating coated fastener accelerate evaporation agent, and forming threads using thread rolling technique characterized moving through series traversing serrated dies in opposite directions parallel one another exert pressure on surface, thereby both without removing metal from impregnating near structure low species. Fasteners manufactured exhibit reduced increased clamping force.
