摘要: The present study utilized thermogravimetry (TG) and optical emission spectroscopy with inductively coupled plasma (ICP/OES) to determine the amount of calcium in citrate tablets, which are used for treatment osteoporosis. samples were characterized using Fourier transform infrared (FTIR), termogravimetry/derivative (TG/DTG), differential thermal analysis (DTA), scanning calorimetry (DSC) X-ray diffraction (XRD). In DTA DSC curves obtained, both endo- exothermic events observed, indicative dehydration decomposition, respectively. diffractograms showed that crystallinity. Additionally, peaks observed indicate presence a hydroxide residue due reaction between oxide moisture air. content obtained by TG from tablet sample (17.77%) was similar ICP-OES (16.84%).
