摘要: Two children with Landau-Kleffner syndrome were successfully treated antiepileptic drugs and a high-dose intravenous corticosteroid. A combination of valproate benzodiazepine (clonazepam or diazepam) ameliorated epileptic seizures electroencephalographic spikes waves, but speech disturbances persisted. Both patients an infusion methylprednisolone sodium succinate (20 mg/kg daily) for 3 consecutive days. This was repeated three times 4-day interval between treatments, which resulted in rapid improvement ability. After therapy, prednisolone given orally (2 daily 1 month, then gradually withdrawn), maintained the clinical speech.
