Verrucous porokeratosis of the gluteal cleft (porokeratosis ptychotropica): a rare disorder easily misdiagnosed.

摘要: Porokeratosis represents a heterogeneous group of disorders characterized clinically by distinctive ridge-like border and histologically cornoid lamellae. A verrucous variant porokeratosis involving the gluteal cleft has been recently described. We present 5 new cases review current literature to highlight clinical histopathologic features this disorder. Descriptive terms including hyperkeratotic porokeratosis, genitogluteal porokeratoma, follicular ptychotropica have all used describe cleft. To avoid further confusion, we propose consolidation terminologies suggest be added commonly described variants porokeratosis.
