摘要: Single-subject designs measure one individual's responses to some experimental manipulation. Statistical methods exist for validly estimating the effect of an intervention on a specific individual by using data from single-subject design. However, without strong assumptions regarding how relates its effects others, results design provide little useful information general utility intervention. Examination single subject cannot verify these assumptions. Correct analysis such allows possibility correlation among observations and modeling any changes over time not related effect. When are collected, role in both generality conclusions must be frankly acknowledged. Research often develops stages can early hypothesis generation.
