摘要: The epidermal growth factor (EGF) receptor interacts with plasma membrane-associated adapter proteins during endocytosis through coated pits. Almost 50 percent of the total pool alpha-adaptins was coimmunoprecipitated EGF when A-431 cells were treated at 37 degrees C, but not 4 C. Partial proteolysis alpha-adaptin suggested that amino-terminal domain is region associates receptor. extent receptor-adaptin association increased in depleted potassium to block endocytosis. These data suggest occurs intact before pits are fully assembled.
