摘要: Control of early postoperative pain entails the use various medications including acetaminophen, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, selective cyclooxygenase-2 inhibitors, tramadol, and opioids. However, these should be carefully administered in patients with aspirin-exacerbated respiratory disease because some may trigger adverse reactions after maxillofacial surgeries. The goal control is to eliminate without complications. Local anesthesia an efficient tool for We utilized a transdermal drug delivery system, iontophoresis by alternating current, order develop alternative technique administering local anesthetic 2 disease. A visual analogue scale was used objectively measure severity pain. 55-year-old woman who underwent mandibular wisdom tooth extraction 18-year-old sagittal split ramus osteotomy mandible both complained multiple times. After application iontophoresis, score reduced zero could controlled. There were no events such as bronchospasm or skin irritation current.
