摘要: Human laminin receptor acts as both a component of the 40S ribosomal subunit to mediate cellular translation and cell surface that interacts with components extracellular matrix. Due its role for several viruses overexpression in types cancer, is pathologically significant protein. Previous studies have determined ribosomes are associated cytoskeleton, however specific component(s) responsible has not been determined. Our show binds directly tubulin. Through use siRNA cytoskeletal inhibitors we demonstrate tethering protein, holding ribosome tubulin, which integral translation. also capable binding actin. shown this receptor-actin interaction critical migration. These data indicate interactions between cytoskeleton vital mediating two processes intimately linked
