摘要: A computerized study of past infectious events and neurological parameters revealed the existence a history repeated respiratory-tract infections (RRI) beginning in childhood, 52% 251 multiple sclerosis (MS) patients studied. The MS were divided into two groups: those without RRI designated as “MS type I”, with problems before onset II”. Significant differences symptoms, treatments received some general found between groups, which suggested correlation evolution presence or not these patients. When compared to I group, significantly higher percentage II reported visual (P≤0.01), paresthesia loss sensitivity (P≤0.03), pain (P≤0.004), motor (P≤0.016) sexual dysfunction males (P≤0.02). mean number attacks first 5 years disease was more frequent patients, 6.2 2.9 also oral corticosteroids (P≤0.02) ACTH (P≤0.003). Although age same for both younger than being 36 41 (P≤0.001). Only 12% group 30% had 15 As is usual MS, majority groups females, 79.3% 63.4% group. These findings suggest that (MS II) have different their from severe. would thus appear putative value, addition criteria, assessing probable future disease.
