Photosensitizing properties of a boronated phthalocyanine: studies at the molecular and cellular level.

摘要: Abstract A synthetic procedure has been developed for the preparation of a Zn-phthalocyanine peripherally substituted with dodecaborane. The absorption spectrum derivative is typical phthalocyanine chromophore. Moreover, boronated exhibits high photosensitizing efficiency against model biological substrate, such as N-acetyl- l -tryptophanamide, and singlet oxygen quantum yield 0.53 in dimethylformamide. Even though presence dodecaborane moiety appears to decrease affinity HT-1080 transformed human fibroblasts, causes an essentially complete loss cell viability upon irradiation 600–700 nm light under mild conditions (1 μM concentration, 5-min at 10 mW/cm2).
