摘要: Mouse Ly-49 receptors are known to recognize xenogeneic ligands from hamster and rat. However, until now, there has been no description of a specific rat ligand for any mouse receptor. In this report, we identify RT1-A1c, classical class I MHC molecule, as the Ly-49G(BALB/c) inhibitory receptor closely related activating receptor, Ly-49W. Xenogeneic recognition targets PVG but not DA strain rats was mapped region RT1c haplotype by using Con A blasts RT1c/RT1av1 intra-MHC recombinant RNK-16 cells expressing either Ly-49W or receptors. Individual expression molecules strains in YB2/0 target demonstrate be allele specific, because other haplotype, RT1-A2c RT1-U2c, molecule encoded RT1av1 RT1-Aa, recognized -G(BALB/c). Furthermore, specificity RT1-Ac can transferred Ly-49P, which is normally unable RT1-Ac, substitution three residues shared -G(BALB/c) Ly-49P. These located beta4-beta5 loop, determine interactions with ligands, suggesting that follows similar principles interaction. findings have implications xenotransplantation studies discerning motifs present molecules.
